IndiGo Flight Attendant Accused of Stealing Gold Necklace from 5-Year-Old
A cabin crew member on an IndiGo flight from Thiruvananthapuram to Bengaluru has been accused of stealing a gold necklace weighing around 20 grams from a 5-year-old child. Bengaluru Airport Police have launched an investigation into the incident.
Priyanka Mukherjee, traveling with her two daughters, stated that a flight attendant took her older daughter for a short walk on the plane to calm her down. Upon returning, they noticed the necklace was missing. The crew member denied the allegation. Priyanka reportedly provided a video showing her daughter wearing the necklace, while the airline refused to share photos of the cabin crew. The family missed their connecting flight and had to spend the night at the airport.
IndiGo confirmed that an investigation is ongoing and stated that it is cooperating with the authorities.
